COVID - 19 Policy
Updated March 25, 2020The coronavirus also known as COVID-19 was declared to be a global pandemic on March 11, 2020 by the World Health Organization (WHO). Ruckify RV is adding an amendment for COVID-19 under our cancellation policies, specifically the extenuating circumstances section to help protect the our community and provide all of our members with peace of mind.
What bookings are covered
Bookings made prior to April 1, 2020
Bookings for trips made prior to April 1, 2020, are eligible for a refund if the reason is due to the COVID-19 virus. This means that guests who cancel will receive a full refund, RV owners can also cancel without penalty or impact to their review or rating status, and Ruckify RV will refund all platform service fees.
If a booking has already begun (the start date has passed) this COVID-19 extenuating circumstance does not apply.
Bookings made on or after April 1, 2020
Bookings for trips made on or after April 1, 2020 will not be covered under our extenuating circumstances policy, except where the guest or owner has contracted COVID-19. Proof by way of a doctor’s note may be required in these cases. The owner’s cancellation policy will apply as usual.
Please remember to carefully review the owner’s cancellation policy when booking and consider choosing an RV that has a flexible option for cancellation.
You can also read the
Extenuating Circumstances Policy to learn about other extenuating circumstances and coverage unrelated to COVID-19.
We will continue to review the application of this policy. Ruckify RV reserves the right to change or alter this policy as the situation develops. Please monitor this page for updates and new information.
